I used this to attach an old shower head and a new Moen head to a flexible hose on the top pipe in my shower stall. Why didn't I buy a dual shower head instead? Simply because my old cheap plastic head provides excellent water pressure and area coverage superior to expensive modern shower heads. This adapter is a very high quality, durable stainless steel construction. Switching between shower heads is smooth, clear and comfortable. Finally, it improves water pressure due to the larger internal diameter of the pipe it is connected to. You may find cheaper plastic adapters, but this one offers surprisingly high quality.
