I got them because I was struggling with my usual winter cracks in my fingers and I was even having a hard time typing at work. I figured there must be something on Revain for that! I found these and thought ok I'll try them. They look so weird at first, but when you really need to heal your fingers, it doesn't matter what you look like, does it? They're comfortable, easy to stretch or leave loose, and are really kind to the skin. You can wash your hands with it without any problems, although they get wet on the inside, but that is to be expected. I wouldn't wear them 24/7 because the skin needs to breathe eventually. Tried them out in weightlifting - not good, they're popping up. But here's what they're good for - typing and basic chores. I've used them with a band-aid on the bottom to give my fingers a healing edge, and they work pretty well for typing, which is part of what hurts my split fingers. During the cold, dry winter months, I just can't use enough lotion or moisturizer to keep my fingers from cracking. Also, I work out at the gym in the garage where it's cold and it doesn't help. It was a good find that helped my fingers protect themselves a bit from typing and allowed them to heal. Looks like you could reuse them too, just wash them and let them air dry. For me it's worth it, I would suggest trying it out if you can't avoid using your hands a lot and want to protect your fingers or heal if you have a crack.
