Review on 🏠 Exquisite Origami Folding Paper Case Box: Daniel's House Japanese Edition by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

great storage for origami paper

This is a lovely little box. I love that there are thumb slots on the sides to help you get the paper out without bending or damaging it. The only downside is that the bottom has mesh fused into the plastic on the inside. You can see it in the photo but I thought it was outside. I was afraid that these lines might get squeezed into the paper as we all know that paper follows the contour of whatever it is kept in. Luckily the origami paper I ordered came with cardboard to keep the paper flat, so I put the piece of cardboard on the bottom and then put the paper in. My guess is that these lines are meant to give the paper an air cushion so it doesn't stick to the ground from static electricity. But no matter how thin the paper, I don't want to end up with stretched/lined paper ruining every design I'm working on.

Pros
  • Made in Japan by daiso
Cons
  • Expensive

Solid case for origami storage, go bigger if there is any doubt you will need more space
