Review on 📀 Iomega 31475 External USB CDRW Drive - Faster 4x4x6 Speeds by Terry Gernes

I bought this rewritable disc and have now viewed 2 from Iomega. I got 2 new software and nothing will make them work. Yes it's a good price but if you have a gateway machine with an open host controller it WILL NOT work. I didn't even know what it was until I bought this rewritable disc and spent at least 48 hours agonizingly talking about how to make it work. I ended up having to ask for a refund after 2 months after Iomega said I was an idiot for buying something that wasn't compatible with the open host controller. This device only works with the Universal Host Controller. And make sure you have the right version of Windows installed to work with it. My experience has cost me time and money, and frankly, Iomega's technical support has been embarrassing and humiliating. In this ever-expanding world of computers and accessories, most companies forget that the general public doesn't have all the information they think we have when we buy their products. A little courtesy and understanding can go a long way in such situations. Iomega doesn't have either. Contact Hewlett Packard.
