The sound of this speaker is good. My problem is the battery. I ordered this column in August 2017. I took it for a river rafting trip and it stopped turning on. When I tried to charge it and turn it on it kept repeating the startup chime for hours so I just stopped charging it. About a week later I received a replacement delivery. This speaker worked fine for a couple of swim trips, but stopped charging after the last one a few weeks ago. I have connected multiple chargers to the port and the white light never comes on. Every time I try to turn it on, it flashes red and makes a sad, dead sound. This speaker isn't as waterproof as I thought it would be, so it's useless to me.
