Review on Schwalbe Inner Tubes SHIPPING UPGRADE by Justin Guldin

The valves on the unnamed tubes on my Stratus XP recumbent didn't interact well with my pumps, so I decided to discontinue them and replace them with tubes from my favorite brand: Schwalbe. Schwalbe has very good prices if you buy direct from their site, but they don't offer free shipping. So unless you're buying a bundle, it's cheaper to buy from one of Revain's supplier partners. I only needed one pair and didn't want to wait until I was ready to place a bulk order with Schwalbe. $20 for a pair of SV12A 26x1.00-1.50 bulbs including shipping is a decent deal. The supplier, Skyscape Cycle Co, sent them in a small padded package. Metal valve covers are good, but definitely not for $5. The plastic caps that Schwalbe uses are actually very good, much better than regular valve caps, so I would expect the metal valve caps to be a more significant upgrade if I were to buy another brand of lamp from this supplier. As for the lamps themselves: Schwalbe are the best I've ever used. In my experience they hold air better and have fewer manufacturing defects than other brands. Schwalbe Presta valves compare particularly well to other brands of Presta valves. I also really like their tires and I generally find their premium price tag (compared to no-names or kendas for example) worth it.
