Review on FalconEyes RX-18TD Waterproof 100W Bi-Color 📸 Dimmable Flexible Studio Light for Photography (RX-18TD) by Aaron Carney

I like the light weight and portable design of this flashlight for its size. This lamp is easier to transport than my large lanterns, but gives off an incredible amount of light. The low-profile design makes it easy to place in tight spaces or as a skylight for low ceilings. Despite being two tone, the output level is bright enough to be used as a key light for an interview. However, I strongly recommend an additional softbox or diffuser to reduce the multiple shadows created by the LED rows. The build quality is good for this price level. The case is not very strong but suitable for transporting this product. As with ALL cases, it's barely big enough to fit in the product it's designed for. Why do companies make suitcases too small for accessories and so cramped? The power cord feels a bit light and could be longer. I ordered an extension cord to make it easier to position the light overhead and to access the ballast controls. The odd thing is that when the ballast is hung by its suspension cord, the AC cord runs from the TOP of the ballast while the head cord runs from the bottom. Either the carrying rope was attached to my ballast with the wrong end or it was simply not thought of how the ropes are aligned when hanging the ballast. It's a minor thing, but still a poor design choice. However, I like this product so much that I can give it 5 stars. UPDATE: I recently bought one of the extension cords (between the controller and the light) which ensures I don't have a remote. I also got a softbox with a grid option and I highly recommend it. The included diffusing light dome is certainly good at diffusing LED light, but if you want to control how the light is diffused, a softbox and grille is the way to go. It's a really great light and I'm glad I added it to my lighting kit.
