I was working from home and wanted something nice around my desk that wasn't bulky and created a nice cool breeze. The traditional fan is too big and ugly and doesn't necessarily cool the air. I have used a larger evaporative air cooler but they are too big and can only stand on the floor and I wanted to be able to leave them on the table. I stumbled across this little guy and decided to give it a try. The size is right and I can definitely keep it on my desk. It has a small lever that allows you to easily direct the wind. I've tried putting some ice cubes in the tank and it works pretty well and blows nice cool air around my work area. The connector is USB Type-C, which was a real surprise as I was expecting a mini-USB. This cable itself is worth good bucks. The mood light was another surprise. I like it because I work late hours and it's very comfortable to work in the middle of the night. In general, this corresponds to my expectations. It looks great on my desk, blowing a nice breeze on hot and dry California days without turning on the home air conditioner. I can plug it directly into the LED lamp's USB port to keep my desk clutter to a minimum. If you're looking for a personal cooler, you can hardly go wrong with this one.
