This is great! I wear 2x, I have 2x and they fit like my jeans. They are not intended for skiing or extreme outdoor activities. But if you live in a cold area and need warm pants, then this is what you need! The inner layer is fleece, so you might get a little sweaty. The outer layer is very waterproof and perfect for running errands in snowy areas or building snowmen. They'll keep you warm, but they're not made for long walks in the wilderness. The waist has a great elastic which is very comfortable. They sit where my low-cut jeans sit. They loosen a little when you put them on and slip a little. So if they are a bit tight at first, try anyway.
