Review on SIMPZIA Leather Stitching Pony: Versatile Tabletop Clamp for Leather Sewing by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well packaged, clear instructions

Just arrived today. I just assembled it so I didn't get any use out of it. Once I do that I will update the review accordingly. I will say it. I work just as hard to make my dollar as you do, and when I decide to buy and support a business (regardless of what product or service they offer), I expect that in exchange for my money I will do the same get what I was promised. While I don't think I have inappropriate standards, I do expect what I give my hard-earned money for to work as promised, and the company to care for their products the way I make mine. Because let's face it, anything and everything happens, and sometimes we're unlucky. Once I get this pony working I will review it based on those standards. Let's be honest, I picked this particular pony for two reasons: #1 for reviews and #2 for price. After unpacking and assembling it looks good BUT time will tell when I can use it. I want to pat the sellers on the back for making the instructions with pictures. Although I know how to assemble them, not everyone can. And it just so happened that there was an extra bolt and nut and without the detailed instructions/pictures I would have hunted my tail for a while before realizing it seemed to have been overlooked. Many of the reviews I've read on various topics get asterisks for the lack of clear and concise instructions. It consists of only 2 pieces that the buyer needs to attach, it's very simple, but not everyone has worked with pony stitches before. Please note that you will need a Phillips screwdriver and a hex key, which are NOT included.

Pros
  • NEVER USE LEATHER: Compared to a regular sewing pony. Equipped with leather on both sides of the clip, the SIMPZIA Stitching Pony will automatically keep your leather work safe and won't damage it.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
