Went back and forth with cases and magnetic rings for the magsafe car charger specifically. Unfortunately, the rings aren't magnetic enough to even keep it on the charger. I have a real case from Magsafe and it works great but I just don't like how it looks so I tried this ring. Like everyone else, I wanted to hide the ring in my suitcase. Of course the magnet was too weak so I went to the outside of the case and glued it on. I think it will work but no. I tried plugging the phone into the charger, it immediately drops out. I'm sorry, it just doesn't work. If it works for you, great. I like its subtlety. So much better than everyone else in looks, I just want it to work. Send back
