For some reason the aftermarket AC charging doesn't work.

For some reason, non-genuine AC chargers do not work properly when charging Garmin GPS devices. I bought two different ones and none worked properly and I was afraid they might damage my Garmin GPS so I contacted Garmin and they recommended this unit for AC charging. It's a bit pricey, $22, but it does what it's supposed to do and now I'm not worried about my unit getting fried by any piece of junk.
