I would give 4 stars if they improved the design a bit . If your vehicle has an intake air temperature sensor that is twistlock type, you will need a 3/4" drill bit, which cannot be a vane/blade. even if he's a lube lover. It's not specified anywhere until step 6a, after you've already removed a few pieces. Also, the twist lock temp sensor is simply inserted into the hole you just drilled and is held in place and. with just pressure and friction Body held against the bushing. It doesn't lock in any way. I'm not sure why the "lock" part of the name didn't impress them a little better over there at K&N Engineering. Overall, this design seems improvised, but on the surface it works well. The only reason I would never give it 5 stars is the heat shield design. It doesn't quite fit, it's about 1/16" too small in both length. and width the filter sits too high and I'm afraid it will end up sucking in some water! :/ I'll see how the temp sensor and the heat shield before I draw any conclusions.
