I bought this charger to replace my existing charger which charged my 48 volt DS club car forever. I bought it as built-in but decided to use it as an external device. Came with on board connector cable so I had to order connector cable to fit my Club Car DS. Hooking it up was easy and straightforward with the help of the online manual. The only problem was the obc connection on the trolley. I read all the instructions but had an idea that I would have to go through the OBC Club Car. Charging didn't work at first. After speaking to Bill from Technical Support in Leicester he immediately understood what I had and hadn't done. I connected the trolley according to his instructions, disconnected the cord from the onboard socket and the charger worked perfectly. Recommend this charger if you need to replace the original one. It's a hammer and lighter than the big chunky block that came with the car. The bonus is that you can download the app and monitor the battery status and charge level.
