These are the cheapest tights so I wasn't expecting much. They block the wind pretty well and keep me warm until about 50 (I ride about 20 mph). The suede is a bit lacking, but is enough for an hour's ride. In terms of size, I wear trousers in size 31x33. The tights are a little roomy at my waist, but I can tighten them up with the drawstring that is included. They are a bit short on my feet, ending three inches above my shoes. I wear long socks and this solves any length problem. This is a worthwhile purchase for those looking to take shorter trips in cold weather. The material seems durable; they should last a while.
