Nice but thin because it gets higher.
We bought this as an item for shoes and light jackets on the doorstep. The bottom of the bench and shelf is durable and very useful. Adding shelves to make room for coat hooks makes the whole structure flimsy and wobbly. Makes it not so pretty and definitely useless. So my husband modified mine a bit to be just a bench with a small backrest using the top of the rack and one of the hook planks. I like it a lot more and don't have to worry about it collapsing or falling against a wall or person. It could definitely use better bracing or stiffness.
