Review on 🔊 DYNAVIN E46 Double DIN Stereo Dash Kit with HVAC Relocation Bracket - Individual Row Style for BMW 1998-2006 3-Series by Jeff Drollinger

The Dynavin AC carry mount cleaned the interior up pretty well and looks fantastic although due to minor imperfections I would suggest some minor changes to the design. The first downside is that it doesn't come with its own 12V cigarette lighter plug, so you'll have to re-use the plug from the factory mount. This creates unwanted play in the cigarette lighter plug itself and sometimes pulls it out when you try to unplug something from it, e.g. a phone charger. The second flaw that annoys me the most is the design, the HVAC buttons sit perfectly within it. Bracket and the bracket itself has no play. But you can't constantly change what is connected to the cigarette lighter, for example you had a Bluetooth FM radio transmitter that plugs into the cigarette lighter and you have to unplug it for some reason. The center pad on the switch bezel (don't know if automatic transmission cars have this problem) interferes with the cigarette lighter plug, so on my BMW with a standard transmission I had to take my shifter, shift bezel and center pad with the windows off. turn off everything in the cigarette lighter. Also, the HVAC relocation bracket is well made, doesn't feel flimsy or insanely cheap, and the only tools needed are a screwdriver with a #2 bit and a T15 or T20 Torx bit to turn the shock bracket to remove the Disconnect the wiring harness and knobs and attach them to the new transfer bracket. All screw holes are perfectly aligned and designed for easy installation. Pictures for reference for clearance issues
