The required hardware (bolt) is missing!

I ordered this stand for a large presentation tomorrow. I unpacked and reassembled it and all was going well until I attached the shelf to the post. This obviously required four bolts and four nuts. I went through the whole package again, then a third time, and then a fourth time, but the gear was nowhere to be found. According to the assembly instructions, "screws" and "dowels" are included. I assume they were in a small bag with parts that appeared to have been taken out of the box in transit. Most boxes these days are sealed, but this one only had a curved flap that left significant gaps for things to fall out. The stand was factory sealed and not shipped in an outer box from Revain so the hardware may have fallen out on the way here or much earlier. Anyway, I have to run to the hardware store at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow to get nuts and bolts so that I can use the stand at 9:30 a.m. for my presentation. I don't have time to return this stand or order another; otherwise I would. Really too bad the product failed due to a small bag of iron costing pennies. One more thing, the carry case isn't very useful as you have to detach the tray from the mount to put things in the case and that means you have to undo four screws so you have to carry a wrench and screwdriver when you want to assemble and disassemble the stand to put it in your bag. One last thing: the stand isn't particularly durable. During the presentation I had a fairly light (2.6lb) laptop on a stand. Someone walking by stepped on the power cord and it knocked the entire stand over, causing the laptop to fall to the floor. The good news is that the tripod itself is pretty light, but the bad news is that even with an ultra-light laptop on the tray, the tripod gets heavy. That would be very difficult with a projector.

Pros
  • Adjustable Laptop Stand: The heavy-duty stand quickly and easily adjusts the height to suit your needs from 17.7" to 47.2" so you can use your laptop sitting or standing. When adjusting the stand height, pull the stand hinges vertically to adjust the stand. Do not pull the metal part or the legs of the stand. The tray rotates 300Β° and can easily be tilted to any angle to provide a comfortable viewing angle
