Review on πŸ‘ Enhanced Kinesis Advantage2 Ergonomic Keyboard for Dvorak Typists - KB600QD by Mike Maez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've found my perfect keyboard

My left wrist started to tingle, numb and hurt even though I was using a different and rather expensive ergonomic split keyboard also made by Kinesis. I noticed this while working from home in a call center. I also use a Dvorak keyboard layout that wasn't compatible with the software of any of the companies I worked at and just added the keyboard input layout. For these reasons, I finally bit the bullet and bought this keyboard. I'm so glad I did! It's amazing in every way. It is plug and play and Dvorak programming works in all cases. My wrists feel great and it's really fun to type on. The wrist position and intuitive layout made the transition to the new keyboard quite smooth. It didn't slow down my typing for long. The hardest part was learning not to hit left backspace when I wanted to hit spacebar. Keyboards are a very personal thing, so it might not be your thing, but they have a money-back guarantee so you can try them out. I love it! I remapped a few keys that worked better for my typing purposes and it was very easy. The instructions were clear and you don't have to be a programmer to follow them. There are many features available that I may never use, but if I ever need them, I'm glad they are. The only negative thing I can say is that the price is very high. The buttons are also a bit noisy, but that's a characteristic of the buttons, not the product itself, and I don't mind. Some of my favorite things are how easy it is to switch from Dvorak to Qwerty, enable the keyboard, and change the layout from Mac to Windows or PC. I have zero regrets!
