Review on 🚚 BRTEC 43205 Truck Tailgate Assist Shock Strut for Ford F-250 Super Duty & F-350 Super Duty (2017-2020) - Lift Support by Brian Gopalan

No instructions included and it doesn't work well on 97 F150, I'm inclined to think it's more a question of pre-drilling the hole. It's too far forward in my tailgate to be really effective and I wasn't planning on drilling additional holes. The standing angle is only about 10° from top to bottom, ideally 35-45°. The tailgate lowers hard and fast, and has minimal slowdown at the very end of the ride. Installation wasn't difficult but instructions would have been helpful rather than relying on YouTube videos for a different make and type of vehicle. There are cheaper versions of this product that I should have bought.
