This solar powered outdoor security camera lives up to my expectations. Ever since the day we bought our house, I've wanted some kind of security camera. I looked around and saved up to get a decent one. I finally made the decision and am very happy. So far it's going well. I can access the camera from anywhere using the UBox app. I am very happy that I can move the camera left, right, up and down. It has two-way audio and I can turn on the spotlight if I want to point something out. I had a few giggles trying it out with my husband. The image is actually pretty clear and I can zoom in if needed. It took me about 15 minutes to set it up on our home WiFi and another 15 minutes for my husband to screw it to the front of our house. We place it in direct sunlight, so the solar panel will always store energy as long as the sun is shining. I really liked the solar lights so I knew I would love them and I really love them. Basically set and forget. There are times when the system shuts down, which means I have to power cycle it. After that it usually works great. I'm not sure if this is a Wi-Fi issue or a system issue. I'm still testing as I've been using it for almost a month now. We have suspicious neighbors and I just wanted to protect our neighborhood. I set it up in a specific area and every time it sees activity it records 20 seconds. This can also be set in the settings. I believe you can set it to 10, 20 or 30 seconds. At the moment I'm storing the stream in the cloud. They give a 30-day free trial to see if you like it and use it, and then they offer monthly plans. You have the option to save to SD card, but I prefer cloud storage. The cost is less than $20 per year. I love this camera so far. It feels high quality and offers many of the features I was looking for. The video above was the last video I had.
