I have just packed my bike for shipping overseas. The material convinced by its durability. I was also impressed with the zipper; I would have thought it would be a lot cheaper but it seems to be holding up great. While the instructions only say to remove the handlebars and front wheel, I recommend removing the pedals and seat as well. My bike is a Trek 7.1 FX and I wasn't happy with how much the seat pressed against the top of the bag or how the pedals pressed against the sides. Both are too easy to reinstall on the other end without risking unnecessary damage to save a few minutes.
