So now I have smashed 2 of them to pieces while they are in use for as many weeks. The first fell apart after the first 12 inches of plywood was cut. The second didn't even last that long and when it broke it cut the bridge of my nose. Revain was good enough to replace the first one, but I don't even want another one after this one. Basically, the beat itself is fine. This bearing breaks apart after a few minutes of use, splattering the outer race and all the bearings in all directions like a shotgun. My router is just a regular ridgid router. nothing exaggerated. So I'm not sure where Amana gets her guidance from, but there is a pretty serious quality control issue that needs to be addressed.
