I can't stress enough how amazing they are at storing wine. Please do not use vacuum sealers. Even if you're not a wine geek like me, it's still worth it if the wine isn't wasted. I bought my first Metrocan almost two years ago, and then four more. I can drink 2-3 bottles of wine in a week without spoilage. Larger wines with tannins more suited to aging obviously last longer (I used Metrocan on a half blend Bordeaux style Californian and the wine wasn't spoiled after 10 days - I forgot that before going into the Went on holiday and when I came back it was still good!). However, these sealers work well with all wines. Buy now, buy a lot. Great gifts too.
