I have several radios. I have been involved in search and rescue and have been a ranger volunteer for 7 years. My other setups are for large commercial radios; and my hams are sloppy with these straps. If you plan on using it with small family radios that don't have a lot of buttons on the surface (like ham radios), that's fine. If you want to use something else. Inserting and removing the radio from the elastic sock is incredibly difficult; and made even more difficult by the way they constructed the hand strap inside the radio sock. The overall size of the setup is amazing. The construction is very good and light.
