VERY large size xxs(4) is too large for a child who wears a size 4/5

I was so excited to get a thaw on my loving 5 year old daughter's dress! I ordered xxs (4) for her as she is tall and thin. This was based on the seller's response that the larger belt size is 10.5 inches at the waist so I figured a size 4 would fit or at least be close, but she's swimming in it. I would say at least 2 sizes smaller if possible, unfortunately the smallest size is still too big for my girl and has to be returned. See photo for measurements. - Turquoise skirt size 4 measures 10.5 inches. - Purple size 5 tag that fits my daughter and is 9 inches. Yellow is a size 4 from the same brand as the purple leggings which still fits and is 8.5 inches tall.

Pros

The shorts are the perfect length, neither too short nor too long. Style them as part of the cutest outfit ever and pair them with tops, cropped denim jackets and white or gold ballet flats for a dance and party-ready look!
