As a tall woman, 1.60 m tall and 215 kg, I find it difficult to buy clothes, especially shirts and dresses because they are usually too short, too high waisted or strange big. However, this dress makes me incredibly glad I took the risk of buying it. If you're shorter, it'll probably look more like the low-waist flapper style of the '20s and '30s than the fitted dresses of the '40s and '50s, but you could easily pull the hem of the skirt up a few inches to look (and show your legs, doll!) or you could raise your waist whatever you want. The look is 40's and this dress will last. The first thing you will notice is the weight of the dress. If you're looking for something relatively simple, with a flared skirt that moves as you move to give a glimpse of your thighs, don't wear anything revealing (I have DD boobs and I have as many or as many as you like I do), thick enough fabric not to get caught in the wrong places, but sleeveless for summer. I encourage you to find another dress that fits the bill. You can wear anything from pearls to flip flops. It doesn't get any better than that!
