It does what it's supposed to do for a pellet stove. The length of the cable is sufficient, as is the hose. Suction power isn't exactly what you could get from a monster vacuum, but for ash (that's its purpose) it's okay. Anyone who sees this negatively should not try to suck up unburned coals or coal briquettes. Any vacuum cleaner would clog with it. The filters on this vacuum cleaner work and work well. The ashes are not thrown back into the room at all. I have just one note: the aluminum tube needs a slightly smaller end or an adapter to get into the nooks and crannies of the pellet stove. But for 4 stars it is not enough.
