Review on 🌐 Universal Support for Arthritis and Tendonitis from StrictlyStability by Fred Massingill

Comfortable, washable, flexible enough

Love this brace! I have joint disease (EDS) as well as carpel tunnel, so I sleep with braces. I've tried different brands but couldn't find where to put them on my last move. I decided to try this remedy and I'm glad I did! This is my new favorite bracelet. Thanks to the metal insert, it offers good support. It curves around your wrist and presses against your palm. There is a nice "sleeve" that you put your hand through and then attach the straps. The cuff helps keep the brace in place and also keeps the straps from chafing your skin. The main brace has a couple of velcro straps so you can adjust it depending on how tight (or loose) you want it to be. This will NOT fully immobilize your wrist/hand. If you're looking for something with more structure and support, this isn't it. I like this because it offers enough support to sleep in, but is also flexible enough (and comfortable enough) to wear all day while typing or drawing. If I was trying to immobilize a sprain or a more serious injury I would try something more structured. This is ideal for everyday use. STRETCHING THE THUMB. A recurring problem I've noticed with wrist braces is that they sometimes put too much pressure on the thumb joint to stabilize the wrist. This bracket does NOT do that. My fingers are fully posable and I don't have to worry about thumb dislocations or bruising. First I bought a brace but I will be ordering a second one for a different wrist soon! They are reversible, I just want to use them on both wrists at the same time. (I bought it myself with my own money)

Pros
  • Hand and wrist braces
Cons
  • Base required
