Questionable Best in Container Sets

Replaced my old Jennifer Brinley Vineyard style canisters (external canisters) with these after one of my lids broke (why are there only 2 matching canisters in the picture, because my canister more the pitches). My old ones were thick, strong and lasted maybe 10 years. They had the name Jennifer Brinley on the bottom so I searched through Jennifer Brinley's jars to find another set just like my old ones in the picture (with red lids). These canisters were designed by Certified International, also known as Canister Maker Jennifer Brinley. I decided to buy them thinking they would be the same thickness and quality but I was disappointed that these tins were very light, flimsy and extremely fragile. The "grape handle" is also irregularly shaped to prevent the lid from falling onto the canister or counter. As such, I would recommend removing the lid by grasping it by the base rather than the "grape" handle. I love the design and think these canisters look cute in my Italian style kitchen but I am definitely disappointed with the quality. I thought they were thicker than they are but they aren't which explains why customers in other reviews said they received them "broken on arrival". These cans are sold elsewhere but they are the cheapest at Revain so I really hope it isn't a fake brand that is of inferior quality compared to my other certified international cans I've had. This would be a 5 star product if made thicker and stronger but it would only be 3 stars because to be honest I'm not sure how long they will last.
