I have these Bought as an extra pair of boots for my 3 year old. We send heavy winter boots to daycare (we live in Wisconsin) and keep an extra pair at home. We all love it! I like that they are warm, comfortable and easy to put on. She likes that they are shiny with colored dots (we have black with colored dots). They don't stick out very high on the calves so they are not suitable for snow but that's ok as we have other boots for snow. We consider them a mud/light snow option, not ugly shoes.
