I got your box for a photo project. If you're into something like that, the only thing you can do is shoot in black and white, as they're terrible at color reproduction. the spectrum is quite discontinuous. There are much more expensive LED dummies; I have no idea if some of them are better in terms of spectrum. You absolutely cannot balance the color with them. Just a friendly note. :) However, there may be color applications that work well for you in good ambient light, for example. i'm pretty happy I can use them outdoors and I can use them anywhere indoors without setting my studio/home/model on fire. They are great for prototyping before lighting the actual fire. Besides, they're great. You can get some of these with broken switches - what's the difference, they're incredibly cheap, just throw out the broken ones. Looks good in mounts (I have mercury goggles). I doubt battery life will be an issue. And boy, I'd rather have them around kids or drunk adults than dozens of lit candles.
