Heavy Duty Horses at Work

Arguably the most overlooked tool in the shop, these bad guys are as tough as they come. Having had 3 pairs in stores for the last 20 years (bought from locals when we had a brick and mortar tool shop) I have placed full pallets of gear and materials on them without even thinking about them breaking. The ad shows two blocks of wood stacked on top of it, and I have no doubts about the possibility. The simple disassembly facilitates transport on the construction site. The pair of legs are not connected and require 2X4 (or 2x8 like me) to complete the blocks. With a "bunch of bones" that's no problem. The only drawback is the lack of pre-drilled mounting holes in the clamping part, for a permanent 2X attachment, which can become loose due to shrinkage after many years of use. For some reason it's so easy to assemble components.
