Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple, rugged and accurate

Another reviewer said this is a smartwatch for people who don't like smartwatches. Well it is me and I would say that the reviewer has hit the mark perfectly. No, it doesn't show animated jellyfish on the main screen (boo flips huh) which is in info number six, we need info. And this watch has it all. Widgets are easy to use and highly visible, and can be easily added, removed, or rearranged. I get weather info with one button press and steps and so on with another. When hiking or cycling, GPS is usually used automatically. The application will read the path and give you a map overlaying your path and all the stats. from your activity. I've had it since Christmas (it's late February now) and I've only taken it off twice to charge and after 2 weeks I still had 3 strips! The battery life is amazing. I set up my home screen - it was easy - no instructions needed, and set up the widgets to my liking - easy again. doesn't matter as I'm working part-time, no repetition. I've suggested Garmin add a calibration feature similar to that used for running on a treadmill, as well as the ability to set stair climbing - the current elevation is fixed, but I expect Garmin will fix that in an update soon. The clock is almost perfect. It's comfortable and light enough to be worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it's safe to use while swimming and even snorkeling. I plan to try the trackback feature on my upcoming trip to Angkor Wat and on my planned trek off the beaten track to find ancient temples off the tourist track. .I am very satisfied with this watch.
