A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Always include a - depending on the reference point you're using for your comparison. To be clear, I am not comparing these glasses to others of a different width I have never tried; rather, I am comparing them to standard spectacles across all price points and in all fields. Along with the 28-300L, this lens is now part of the duty set. In other words, it's a fantastic photo. Lightroom now automatically and effectively corrects aberrations, geometry, and vignetting, so I won't bother writing about them. As writing about sharpness is more challenging, I will say that this glass is comparable to the elka in this regard and is extremely good in the image's central field. At the very periphery, though, some blurring does occur. The wide-angle lens works great for me, and I now enjoy taking pictures both indoors and outside. Its depth of field makes up for the occasional autofocus failure. It's not always obvious from looking at a photo in LR whether it was shot on the Elk or on it. In conclusion, the glass deserves much praise.

Pros
  • large view The Reproduction of Colors Clarity in the focal area Weight (relative to the professional series) (compared to the professional series)
Cons
  • They're pricey, and not all of the 77 of them are a suitable height. Quality of the edge Obviously, it's not as sturdy as an elka, but the weight difference is quite noticeable. A dark band appears in the middle of the image when shooting with a circular polarizing filter (CPL; I suppose this occurs at all wide angles), so think carefully about whether or not you actually need one.
