I'm pleasantly surprised! Such things are usually useless and bring no additional benefit. But WOW, this little guy really worked! Well, does it cast a blinding beam of light hundreds of yards into the darkness of the night? No of course not. But does it focus a decent little beam in one direction enough to see better in that direction and a little further? Yes indeed! It's also quite easy to use, just hang it on the rim of the top of the candle lantern. Yes, it just hangs there and dangles a bit, but that's okay, it's a reflector. Just be quiet with a candle lantern and you're good to go. I don't think it will be something I will most likely use all the time, but I think it's worth the money and I'd be really happy to have it if I need it. Will probably buy more.
