The easy fix was to just go to your local hardware store and buy a hex head screw and use that in place of the plastic pin and screws. If you are planning to use this on an expensive device like a laptop or similar, be aware that it may not fit unless you use good quality screws. Plus, it's a simple stand that even comes with a carrying case. All the company has to do is upgrade their plastic grips to better threaded metal or aluminum grips and use aluminum clips instead of plastic clips. It may cost a few euros more, but it's worth it! This fixes the stand and lasts a very long time. I can't give it 5 stars in its current state due to defects.
