So now I have this setup as a shader. It just works. The weight of this machine is absolutely perfect. It feels good in hand, especially with the big, thick, tubular handle. The only BIG PROBLEM I've found with this is one that annoys me to death for machines on Amazon. The pipe clamp sucks. I would only use this machine with metal tubing and tips just because it doesn't work with disposables. Even then I think it won't work with some metal pipes. The reason for this is that the manufacturer decided to process a small piece of scrap metal in the pipe clamp. I think that the collar and without it holds up normally. I almost took off 2 stars because it made the disposable consumables that I love to use unusable on this machine. Could have one of my mechanic friends remove it for me or drill a larger hole on the inside of the clamp. Also the pattern engraved on the gold part of the machine looks cheap. This device's rod and spring will need to be replaced and then adjusted before it can be a truly amazing machine, but it's well on the way.
