Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Your Toolbox with the CRAFTSMAN 10-Piece Multi-bit Ratcheting Screwdriver Set (CMHT68008) by Derrick Patterson

It worked twice (sort of)

The functional problem with this tool is that the ratchet direction selector tab/lever tips over very easily. Given that this is for a limited space it's inevitable that something will hit/hitch it and I've read about this issue in reviews of some other mini ratchets like this one so I didn't end up docking as many stars . Therefore. The big problem was that it only worked decently well twice. I used it to remove the TPS (sensor) on my bike which isn't really attached with massive bolts that require high torque. Despite this, the ratchet began to show signs of wear. Judging from my pictures, the direction stick seems to have shifted (points more to the left). I also see what appears to be a locking ring next to the socket that the bit fits in, although that might not be a big deal. In fact, the entire ratchet assembly appears to have shifted. Also, it's hard to see in the photos, but there's a tiny button on the directional lever. All this after two uses seems ridiculous. Craftsman advertised a "Full Lifetime Warranty" on the box, so hopefully they'll fix this issue.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive
