It was necessary to use original spare parts

Everyone said to use only original sensors on my diesel 7.3. Tried this one because their website said they stock ambulances with these items. I wanted to replace my fully working one because it was 18 years old. The product looked good but my truck stumbled a bit in the cold weather. Attributed it to the presence of air in the sensor which should work, like the IPR I installed. Then I noticed a steady burst of gas under a light load at low speeds. The scanner confirmed that the signal I received showed an oscillation of 200psi at constant throttle, while my OE only oscillated 20psi under the same conditions. Went with OE Ford, problem solved. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I don't want to be stranded on the side of the road with a $75 load. If the original lasts half as long as my predecessor, it's worth it.
