Great and worth the price

These shoes are great! Based on other reviews I ordered 1/2 size larger than my old shoes (44.5 instead of 44) and they fit perfectly. I have a "low volume" foot (according to someone at my local bike shop) and had an issue with my previous shoes (SDI) where I tightened them all the way, but the shoe wasn't as snug as I wanted . . They seem to fit my feet better. They are quite long but I can tighten them as much as I want even if the shoe stretches over time. I really like the dial locking system. Once you get the hang of it you can easily adjust them while riding and it's very easy to take them off at the end of a ride. They are also good for hiking. I had to ride off-road recently and the shoe handled the mud and rocks well. On normal surfaces, they (mostly) prevent the spikes from hitting the surface. One important thing to keep in mind. The shoe comes with two extra arch supports and two extra toe supports. My shoes came with high arch support and high off support. When I first put them on, I felt like I had a tennis ball under the arch of my foot. I ended up removing both supports and they now fit my feet well. Of course, this depends on the shape of your foot, but you may need to play with it to get comfortable. The only negative thing about these shoes is the outrageous price, but for me they are worth it.
