Review on π Enhance Acoustic and Thermal Insulation with 3M Thinsulate SM600L (20' x 60') by Bryan Hill
Good product / bad price
I have used Thinsulate in van doors and elsewhere. It's definitely a good thing, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money. I would recommend it to anyone on a reasonable budget. Budget builders should look elsewhere, however. Ordinary mineral wool appears to have similar R-value and fire resistance at a fraction of the cost.
