Review on ZOMAKE 24-Spike Ice Cleats for Shoes and Boots - Anti-Slip Traction Crampons for Walking on Snow and Ice, Unisex Design by Jayshawn Cuatlayol

Don't worry about them unless you're walking at turtle speed on perfectly level ground.

It's useless unless you get to the head camp. Do they offer traction on snow? I don't know, haven't tried it. Do they offer traction in the mud? Yes, definitely, but even on the slightest incline, these things will snag when your shoe slides over them, causing you to either slide over your toe on the way down or over your toe on the way up. The front or back of the product is not strong enough to hold it on the foot so you have to keep adjusting it to keep it in place. I got them hiking slightly muddy, hilly trails and didn't get more than 40 yards before I had to take them off as I had to stop at least 3 times at that distance to adjust them. They can actually work if the entire front end down to the strap they provide is solid material or if you're just walking on flat terrain.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE AND CARRY: Compact design makes them lightweight and portable, you can take them with you in a small pannier when needed, just adjust the front of your shoe/boot and then adjust the back how easy it is !
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
