These gloves are a good compromise between durability and flexibility. The material is thick enough without limiting manual dexterity, just what I was looking for. I'm an avid marksman and my guns can get pretty hot sitting in the Texas sun firing a high ammo carbine or triple gun match. All seams are double stitched except for the Velcro which I haven't used enough on these gloves to judge their durability. The four stars I give for "durability" are based solely on my subjective evaluation of the gloves. I bought the largest gloves offered by XL which are a bit tight but I have larger than average hands so I think if you are in the normal range you should find these gloves perfect. One final note: the gloves give a "tactful" look when paired with similarly colored elbow and knee pads. I bought all my tactical gear in Coyote in case I run into an ANTIFA or BLM crowd so everyone can say I'm one of the good guys.
