Review on High-Output 100W Mega Ray Mercury Vapor Bulb (120V) by Miranda Smith

I bought my first Megaray bulb 3 years ago and it lasted 2 years. The second bulb also lasted 2 years and is still technically functional, but somehow it got black burn marks which I think is my fault as it's on the outside of the bulb. I also have a UVB and UVA meter which proves that the UV output is 5 times higher than the reptisun 10.0 linear tubes and is similar in composition to Australian sunlight which is important to the health of my bearded dragons. The UV production after the 2nd year drops by half of the original amount, which is still higher than a brand new Reptosun. I love this lamp, excellent quality and the price keeps falling. I hope the quality stays the same and the price is really only like that because they have streamlined production. I will happily continue paying $40 every year or two to buy these bulbs that keep my beard happy and healthy.
