I have 5 Amcrest systems (4 IP and 1 COAX). Received this as a temporary upgrade to an old NightOwl before switching the cameras to IP. Easy setup and has no problem recognizing my non-Amcrest AHD cameras. The picture quality is exactly the same as the previous DVR, but this one can record 30 fps at 1080p. As a test, I set channel 4 to IP mode, but couldn't figure out how to add an IP camera. The interface is similar to IP DVRs but none of my Amcrest IP cameras are showing. This was not a problem for me as I will be returning this unit before the deadline and replacing it with another IP NVR. In my picture, the 4 COAX cameras are circled in red. Image by Amcrest Surveillance Pro. The only minor downside is that the wrong URL is used when launching the Surveillance Pro configuration page. it tries to point to the invalid NVR path. Just remove everything after http://ip/ and the UI will load.
