Follow the instructions for no brake lube on the back of the plate and no factory shims and they installed with no problems. The included hardware fit like a glove, and the brakes didn't make the slightest noise. Only time will tell the full story, but I am sure they will continue to work great. Be sure to follow all manufacturer torque settings and install all equipment correctly. Update 4/26/2018 After using pads for several months both cars I bought squeaked when I used the brakes. The first while reversing, the second with a slight push forward. I double checked the setup, inspected the rotors, added brake paste to reduce the noise, but nothing helped. Would recommend switching to a different brand.
