Update: Upgraded to 5 stars because I realized the water filled UV chamber was my fault. The 3rd basket was installed incorrectly, causing the pipe to bulge slightly. It also appears that the flow has improved significantly even with the 16 inch carbon dioxide reactor in the return line. He burps from time to time, but no worse than others I've seen. However, I also switched the filter media to a black/green and blue sponge in the bottom basket, a matrix in the middle to half the original ceramic media, and a white filter pad in the top basket. There was a bacterial bloom causing the water to become cloudy and after the UV lights were on 16 hours a day for a week the water was crystal clear. Got it back 2 hours a day for a week and it's still crystal clear and flowing well. First Review: Initially, this thing was powerful. Remove everything except the blue filter pad and one white pad. Leave the blue and white spacer in the lower basket. I filled the 2nd and 3rd with 4 liters of Seachem Matrix and the upper basket with ceramic rings. I'm pretty sure it was flowing at least 600 gallons an hour for the first 3 days and then I came home from work one day and now it seems to be flowing around 200 gallons an hour. In addition, the UV chamber is not sealed and is always filled with water. I had to send the unit back but didn't want to be left on my tank without a filter, I can look at the warranty but I'm sure it won't be worth the wait or shipping cost. I would honestly avoid this particular model
