I wasn't expecting a pro or even a semi-pro for the price and I got what I expected, clumsy mount and flimsy gels that scratch easily. The Magic Holder Attachment Strap is just a sticky, lined Velcro that you can buy at the store by the meter. No magic involved. I wasn't planning on gluing a strap to one of my expensive flashes, so I'm holding it with rubber bands. Also, I have multiple flashes, so I can use the rubber band solution for different flashes. The hinged gel holder is a thick plastic cover that tends to stick. Makes inserting and removing gels a challenge. There is a good range of gel colors so I'm giving it 3 stars because of the cheap price. Note to those still keeping the old Vivitar 285 workhorses, the gels work great with the built in diffusion filter holder. No need to fiddle with the mount.
