The prongs on the plug do not have holes on the ends to hold it in the wall socket. I have never seen a product without holes and it looked very strange. I even had to look for what those holes are for. This resulted in the plug entering the outlet freely. It would be very easy to disable this with a little gulping. But it still had power and heated up quickly. I like that the flat iron has a wide base as I have very long hair. It was very easy to use and I didn't have to run it through my hair multiple times to get a matte look. I felt that if you have thick hair you would have to make multiple attempts. It only displays degrees Celsius, which goes up to 230 degrees. It's 446 Fahrenheit, so it gets pretty hot. The plastic on the outside of the crown heats up to the touch, so you can't touch it while straightening your hair. I wish this part was better designed as with my very long hair I sometimes need a little more help getting the flat iron through my hair. The straightener has a lock on the end that keeps the straightener closed when in use for easy storage. In general, his work is worthy for what I need.
